Toffee Liqueur Bundt Cake

Liqueur Bundt Cake

This Liqueur Bundt Cake Recipe is super easy to make! It can also be made with any kind of Liqueur. But we happen to Adore the Taste of Toffee. We also add bits of Toffee & Nuts to the cake mix! And, of course, we add additional Toffee Bits & Nuts to the Liqueur Topping….

Ingredients:

  • 1 Yellow Cake Mix
  • 2 Instant Vanilla Pudding mixes
  • 1 Cup Chopped Walnuts – Divided in ½
  • 1 Cup Toffee Bits – Divided in ½
  • ½ Cup Milk (can use Soy, Almond etc.)
  • 1 Cup Toffee Liqueur – Divided in ½
  • ½ Cup Oil (We like Coconut)
  • 4 Eggs
  • ½ Cup Butter
  • 1 Cup Brown Sugar
  • 1/3 Cup Heavy Cream

Preheat the Oven to 350 Degrees….

Liqueur Bundt Cake

Combine the Cake Mix, Pudding Mixes, ½ the Chopped Walnuts & ½ the Toffee Bits. In a separate bowl, beat the eggs, whisk in ½ the Liqueur, the milk & oil. Add the wet & dry mixtures together & stir well.

Pour the combined mixture into your prepared Bundt pan. Although we use a non-stick Bundt pan, we still spray on a little cooking spray…. In doing so, we’ve never had an issue with cake sticking. Bake for 40 – 50 Minutes. A toothpick should come out clean.

While the cake is baking, make the topping…..

Melt the butter in a saucepan letting it cook to a golden brown. Once it’s a beautiful golden color, whisk in the brown sugar. Allow the sugar to completely melt then add in the heavy cream.  Lastly, add in the remaining Liqueur. Hold on to the remaining Walnuts & Toffee Bits – Because you can add those After you’ve Soaked your Cake! #Liqueur

Allow the cake to cool for about 10 min. Then transfer your cake to a plate & poke holes all over it with a toothpick!! Remember, the more holes the better for the liqueur to soak in! But Don’t use all the Topping! Save some for the remaining Walnuts & Toffee Bits!

Once your Cake is Soaked with the Toffee Liqueur just let it sit for a few minutes while you mix the remaining Walnuts & Toffee Bits into your remaining Topping! Now, you are Ready to Slice that Cake, pour a little more Liqueur Topping on your slice & Enjoy!

This Toffee Liqueur Bundt Cake makes such a pretty Finale!

Very seldom do we have much in the way of Left Overs for this cake. But if you do, we recommend giving it a little zap in the microwave before serving. There’s just something about a Warm Toffee Liqueur Cake, especially on a cold day!

Now, most people don’t eat their dessert first! Although, we do know some that will try and get away with that if you don’t keep a close eye on them! #Cake
