Did you know that the Weather can affect the taste of your wine? A change in temperature is actually not good for your bottle of wine! Fluctuations in temperatures will cause a contraction & expansion. Consequently, that causes an untimely aging process. While we appreciate a well-aged bottle of wine, NO one wants an immature or overly matured wine. We want it Just Right! #WineDelivery
A variation in weather or climate can also affect the grapes way before they make it into our bottle of wine! Most of us like to be Warm! Similarly, so do grapes! When the climate is Warm grapes actually ripen with ease. An earlier & longer ripening stage also means the levels of sugar will be Higher! Consequently, greater levels of sugar allow for a higher degree of alcohol during fermentation. A higher alcohol level accomplishes a fuller-bodied wine!
