Creamy Jalapeno Sauce was introduced to our taste buds and nothing’s ever been the same! So, the problem is finding this exceptional sauce! When you really, really like something, do you scour the earth until you find it? Consequently, we experiment until we duplicate the taste OR we make it even better! While everyone’s taste buds are different, we understand that you may not be as enthusiastic as we are about this Creamy Jalapeno Sauce. We just don’t understand if you’re NOT! But since we love those members of our clan that like it mild, we serve our Creamy Jalapeno Sauce on the side when necessary!
Ingredients:
- 1 Cup Sour Cream (Full Fat is best for thickness)
- 1/3 C Mayonnaise
- 2 Fresh Jalapenos – Seeds removed & patted dry
- 2 Teas. Minced Garlic
- 1 Teas. Onion Powder
- 1 Tbsp. Roasted Red Pepper
- ¼ Teas. Salt
- ½ Teas. Chipotle Chili Powder
- 1 Teas. Sugar
Shall I list all the ways I love thee?
Throw all of the ingredients into the blender. Don’t forget to put the lid on! (Sorry, I KNOW that is a no-brainer! But it’s happened in my house!) My Vitamix blender does an excellent job! But sometimes I do have to scrape the sides. (You know licking the spatula is only because I don’t want any to go to WASTE!) The sauce may be thin at this point. Now it just needs to Chill in the Frig & it will thicken up.
First of all, this Creamy Jalapeno Sauce is totally out-of-this-world inside & on top of our Grilled Stuffed Chicken Burritos! Another way we love it is on top of our Breakfast Burritos or Taquitos! Likewise, it’s awesome on either of our Beef or Chicken Enchiladas! You probably don’t find any of our loves to be surprising. But, finally, the absolutely Best’est way we adore our Creamy Jalapeno Sauce is with French Fries! #Jalapenos
