This Cowboy Cookie Recipe will make all your little Cowboys & Cowgirls say “Yee-Haw”!! Even grown-ups seem to enjoy these flavorful treats! So, if you enjoy the taste & aroma of Cinnamon, you will never want a “Plain” chocolate chip cookie again! This recipe puts another spin, not only on the traditional chocolate chip but also on other Cowboy Cookie Recipes!
Maybe you’ll be able to spot our unusual ingredient….
Mix These Ingredients & set aside:
- 2 & 1/4 Cups Flour
- 1 Teas. Baking Powder
- 1 Teas. Baking Soda
- ½ Teas. Salt
- 2 Teas. Cinnamon
Whip These Ingredients Together for your Cowboy Cookie Recipe:
- 1 Cup Softened Butter
- 1 Cup Sugar
- 2 Eggs
- 1 Cup packed Light Brown Sugar
- A Teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- A Teaspoon Maple Extract (or Pure Maple Syrup)
Mix Dry & Wet Ingredients together. Then add in the last ingredients:
- 2 Cups Oats
- 2 Cups Chocolate Chips
- ¾ Cups Chopped Walnuts
Bake at 350 Degrees for around 10-12 minutes
We like bigger cookies rather than small ones, so we use a Tablespoon to drop our dough balls versus a Teaspoon. But you do what works for you! We also appreciate Parchment Paper on our cookie sheets for the ease of clean up. But there is also an added bonus… You’ll find cookies are easier to remove from parchment paper. Although, they do need to cool before moving them. I KNOW! That’s really hard to do, but they won’t fall apart if you let them cool a bit. Plus, we don’t want you burning your tongue!
