The Future of the “Internet-of-things”, or better known as IoT, is Already Here! We have many appliances and also devices. You may be strapping on your FitBit. Or maybe asking Alexa to tell you a joke! These everyday appliances are perfect examples of IoT. So, they have already been collecting data for years! My RoboVac is somewhat new to our household. Although he does a marvelous job of sweeping up debris, I’ve found that I’ve started taking him for granted! Thank goodness! He doesn’t need a bouquet of roses or a box of chocolates to make it up to Him! Another area I’ve taken for granted is my grocery list! Just the other day, The refrigerator tells me we were low on MILK!
So, it’s just a matter of time that my devices and appliances start talking to Each Other!! Actually, all of these IoT are already talking to each other! As long as they say nice things about me, help me stay organized, and also clean my home, they are welcome in my house! But, there is also a way to turn IoT into a bit of profit! #IoT
